April was born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii to a beautiful Georgia Peach and a strong Hawaiian. Her family moved to Coastal Georgia when she was two. She has two wonderful sisters, six pretty nieces and two handsome nephews.

Once she graduated high school in Hinesville, Georgia, she enlisted in the US Navy. She served 11 years, beginning as an admin clerk, then as an electronics technician. She obtained her Master Training Specialist qualification during her tour as an electronic instructor and her Enlisted Surface Warfare Qualification while deployed on the USS John F. Kennedy during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

April obtained her real estate license in 1998. Inactive while on active duty, April became a full time agent after her last enlistment. She is currently an Associate Broker with Keller Willaims Realty, Coastal Area Partners working with Ben Barksdale and The Savannah Property Team. While the team is capable of all facets of real estate business, she has been particularly involved with military relocation, new construction, first time home buyers, and aggressive marketing for sellers in a shifting market.

She now resides in Coastal Georgia with her husband and four beautiful daughters. She considers herself blessed to be able to raise her family in the same manner in which her parents brought her up – among family, friends, and marsh grass.

April is an avid runner, writer, and reader. She enjoys obtaining and sharing knowledge. Clients typically enjoy her straight forward and compassionate demeanor. She appreciates the importance of every decision that is made where ownership is concerned and she is committed to walking her clients through the process offering assistance tailor made for the situation.
